MAXIMUM POWER = FASTER LAP TIMES

The basic principle is that the air fuel ratio – which you control by adjusting your Low speed and High Speed jets on your carby – has a theoretical OPTIMUM tune.

This Optimum tune WILL be different on any given day due to changes in Air Temperature, Humidity, Barometric pressure, Fuel Temperature(Density) etc.

What Is constant is a required optimum air fuel ratio. The tuning lights use an automotive oxygen sensors in the exhaust, to display the actual combustion conditions, and allow you to adjust your carby settings to obtain the optimum ratio and hence MAXIMUM Horsepower.

PROTECT YOUR MOTOR

  - Due to the instantaneous response of an oxygen sensor - a lean condition is displayed to the driver 100s of  times faster than any other sensor such as Exhaust Gas Temp or  Cylinder head temp. This means that you can react to such conditions BEFORE it costs you a rebuild.
