The GFC/TB Kart Steering Sniper Caster System Kit is one of the most valuable tuning upgrades on a modern chassis because it allows independent adjustment of caster and camber. Unlike older eccentric pill systems, the Sniper design lets you make precise changes without one setting significantly affecting the other. 

What does the kit include?

A typical kit contains:

• Upper and lower Sniper adjustment plates
• Base plates
• Camber adjustment screws
• Mounting hardware
• Kingpin hardware (depending on the kit) 

What does caster do?

Caster controls how much the chassis jacks weight onto the outside rear tyre and lifts the inside rear during cornering.

More Caster

• More front bite.
• Faster turn-in.
• More inside rear lift.
• Better on cold or low-grip tracks.
• Heavier steering.
• Can create hopping as grip increases.

Less Caster

• Smoother steering.
• Less chassis jacking.

What does camber do?

Camber changes how the front tyres sit on the track.

More Negative Camber

• Better edge grip during cornering.

• More front tyre temperature.

Less Negative Camber

• Larger tyre contact patch.
• Better braking stability.
• More even tyre wear.
• Smoother handling.

Unlike caster, camber has very little effect on rear wheel lift. It mainly fine tunes the grip and contact patch of the front tyres.
